Jessica joined Lakeview Montessori School in 2009, with a diploma from St. Clair College in Journalism, and a Montessori Teacher’s Education Program diploma. She is presently attending the University of Windsor to complete a B. A. in Family and Social Relations. Before coming to Lakeview, Jessica interned at the Montessori Academy of Windsor in the Casa and Elementary classes.
As the Junior Directress, Jessica’s goal is for students to work towards gaining independence coordination and concentration skills. Montessori believed that children need to have independence and control over their own learning environment whenever possible. “My goal for this year is to provide hands on learning experiences that encourage my students to explore the different areas of the classroom and environment. I believe that the Montessori Method provides a strong foundation for knowledge and learning and teaches the child independence.I consider myself very fortunate to be working at Lakeview and I look forward to the year ahead.”
